Do you love the outdoors…?
Like finding out more about the world around you, the animal and plant life we share it with and how to help look after it? Then come on down to Wentworth Junior Rangers Club -a new fun-packed wildlife club for children aged 8-13 years!
At our school holiday sessions you will discover the wonderful wildlife around Stainborough Park, learn about environmental issues, take part in art and crafts activities, use handtools, go orienteering, play games and make new friends.
It’s just £3 per session - with most sessions lasting around one and a half to two hours - and there’s a quarterly newsletter to keep you in touch with what’s going on.
Designed for children aged 8-13, members must be registered and there will be a limit of 15 children per session. Some sessions will be suitable for children alone but others will require a parent to be present. Children with special needs are welcome but will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult. We would ask parents and carers to contact the Education Team to discuss their requirements and enable us to provide the most enjoyable experience of the club.
Each session includes games and wildlife-based activities. Don’t wear your best clothes…come dressed for the great outdoors as things could get messy! Please book as there are limited numbers for sessions.
