Guided Tours

To get the most out of your group visit we strongly recommend you book one or more of our guided tours.

We offer tours of the Gardens, Parkland and Monuments Trail and of  the “big house”  - Wentworth Castle - itself.

Please note:  Whilst you are welcome to wonder at leisure through the Gardens and Parkland,  Wentworth Castle is now a college of further education known as  The Northern College. Access into the house is therefore strictly by pre-booked tour only.

Tours cost £3 per person in addition to Gardens admission. They are delivered by our informative and friendly guides who have spent many hours researching the history and stories behind the development of the house, gardens and parkland.

During the summer months we also offer public garden and house tours - watch this space for the next date.
