Enjoy your wedding at Wentworth Castle Gardens

Thinking about getting married in Barnsley? Wentworth Castle Gardens is one of Yorkshire's leading wedding venues and can offer civil wedding ceremonies, civil partnerships, receptions and banquets.

The 18th century Long Barn creates an unusual and intimate venue for your special day, with its high ceiling, medieval roof timbers and wooden floors.

Both the Long Barn and the attached St James Hall (a former Victorian family chapel) can be booked for receptions and banquets for parties of up to 100 people, and our lawns directly in front of the historic Wentworth Castle are also available for marquees. Private parties can have exclusive enjoyment of our beautiful gardens after 5pm.

Restoration work has now been completed on the Long Barn and St James Hall, and we are happy to show you around these beautiful facilities by arrangement.
