Built in 1734 to commemorate Thomas Wentworth's patron Queen Anne, who died 20 years earlier. Thomas lists all of the titles he has gained, many of them given to him by Queen Anne but doesn't mention King GeorgeI once, only 'the successor', a man he never served or held office under.

Opening Times

The Gardens are open daily, April to September10am-5pm, last admission 4.30pm. From October to March, 10am-4pm, last admission at 3.30pm.
